Five years ago today, I took a leap of faith: I purchased the assets of Kaleidoscope, took out a bank loan, and set out to bring this beloved Mac app back to life. At the time, Kaleidoscope hadn’t seen updates in a while — but I knew it deserved another chance.
Florian and I had already been talking about working together, and Kaleidoscope became our first shared mission. We began rebuilding the app piece by piece.
Looking back, that decision changed everything. Kaleidoscope is now more capable, stable, and polished than ever before. It’s a tool that many professionals rely on every single day. We’re proud of how far it’s come — and excited for what’s next.
